Smart Bro is on holiday (sheesh) | Print |  E-mail

As what can be expected, Smart Bro went down yesterday – or at least here in the Ortigas Area.

This is one funny thing about Smart Bro – whenever there is a long holiday (Christmas, Easter, etc.), they always make it a point to annoy their subscribers and bring down their service. And it always happens on a Saturday. Without fail.

Once again, calling technical support doesn’t help. You see, they have this oh-so-reliable channel portal that their call center agents use. It flags them if there is a “technical activity” going on at the base station. Since there was no flag when I called, they simply said there must be something wrong on my end.

That channel portal needs to be thrown in Manila Bay where no technical support agent can touch it ever again.

And once again, we wait until Monday. Until then, it’s 3G for me.

I guess their sys ads, and tech guys are enjoying the beach. I had enough of that "technical activity" BS.

Oh! have you ever had any experience of waiting hours on the phone while listening to the music/prompter because no one at their call center wants to answer the phone? they're too guilty to admit that the company they're supporting often fails to deliver their promises.

Life sometimes sucks so is Smart Bro/Wifi/whatever.

I feel your pain. I actually bought a speaker phone solely to handle calling tech support. Argh!

yeah, smartbro agents surely don't wanna answer calls with irate complainants on the other line, but they have no choice, system is auto-answer, calls were just on queue everyday. Smartbro has the most growing population of subs, i might say, yeah it's becoming over-populated. I will never get smartbro, i'd rather have my 3g forever

I love my mother in law for the most part, she raised her son right. Now, if she could only drop the questions about if we were going to have children. Gee, that one should be self-explanatory after almost 8 years. I am not going to explain my health there with anyone other than my husband, that would be tmi. But I love her to death, and she does mean well, I know.
